Project and Exhibiting space
We have created two distinct exhibiting spaces at Continuum
The front room is now a flexible space for shows, projects and workshops, which is available to hire for certain periods during the year. We hope with an affordable hire fee and no commission, it will add to the creative diversity of the town, with a special emphasis on supporting individuals or small groups that have unconventional or less commercial projects that might struggle to find exhibiting space locally in the current economic climate.
Between events Continuum is open by appointment. If you’d like to visit, email us via the contact page.
Click on the button below to find out more about the space. If you have a show or project you’d like considered, then drop us a line on the contact page telling us something about your practise and what you have in mind.
A Shelter for Wonder
In Continuum’s second exhibiting space, we will be making A Shelter for Wonder, a physical structure and room installation as part of our Artwave 2025 show. After the responses to our last installation Vibrant Matter we’ve been thinking through some ways that will allow more people to get involved in an evolving improvised installation and we’ll be putting a call out in the coming months inviting people to join us in making it.
Events - coming up
We’ll be adding new events and exhibitions, as they are confirmed.
We’re delighted to be part of the launch of HEART SOUL MIND a new book by the internationally renowned eco artist Chris Drury, to be published on 11 April 2025. This beautifully illustrated edition provides a fascinating insight into the artist’s philosophy and practice over the last forty years. Alongside the book’s launch will be a small exhibition of Chris’s works in the Continuum studio project space.
Sunday 13th April 11am-4pm The artist will be present
